New Honda NSX with V6 and electric motors
Developed by Honda America, two-seater which will run in the U.S. under the brand Acura, will be powered by a V6 gasoline engine with direct fuel injection and VTEC which is built as a mid-engine behind the two passengers and transmits its power to the rear wheels. By side are two electric motors on the front wheels, which improve the drive unit to an intelligent wheel drive.
Seventh generation of the Chevrolet Corvette debuts
Lightweight. That is the motto of the new Chevrolet Corvette C7 which at the Detroit Motor Show 2013 also celebrates premiere. It´s also the seventh generation of the front-engine rear-wheel drive. The new small-block exploits of a 6.2-liter 450 hp and 609 Nm of torque. The V8 is now indeed on direct fuel injection, cylinder deactivation, a start-stop system and a variable valve train but remains faithful to the central camshaft. It is shifted by seven-speed gearbox or automatic.
Ferrari Enzo successor displays at Detroit Motor Show 2013
Ferrari Enzo's successor, which is being developed under the model code F70 will be only as a coupe. He celebrates premiere alongside the Corvette and the Honda NSX at the Detroit Motor Show. The chassis with F1 know-how made of carbon, the V12 engine coupled to an electric motor according to Kers-model. The bottom line is the system performance will be around 900 hp.
